Error when upgrading to latest version 2 Years, 10 Months ago
HI

The module installed okay, but the componant does not...

JInstaller::install: File '/home/b1gboy/public_html/dev/tmp/install_49e30f993992d/upgrade.php' does not exist.
Component Install: Could not copy PHP install file.

I have checked and the folder does not exisit.

Any ideas, as my installation is now stuffed. Can I overwrite files manaully or uninstall and do a fresh install?

I'm not sure what happened during your upgrade. I can't seem to duplicate the error.

If you were using 1.0 RC1 you can just upload the files over the existing ones. If you are using an earlier version let me know and I will get you the sql query updates you will need.

Thanks,
Shannon

It is okay now. I did an uninstall (including the database tables) and did a fresh install, and it worked. I did upgrade from a previous version, not sure if it was 1.0 RC1, I think it was.
