ClientExec Database Error: 2 Years, 4 Months ago  
Hello, i have successfully installed the Client Exec bridge. in joomla 1.5.14. I am using ClientExec 3.2.3. I have set all the configuration settings and now when I click on the sever manager, I get the following error:

ClientExec Database Error: Unable to connect to the database:Could not connect to MySQL

I can successfully log into and operate my Client Exec account so I know the database is working properly.

You don't have mcrypt properly installed and compiled into PHP - without it, you'll get this error.

I had the same exact error and realized that mcrypt wasn't compiled into php by my host, and once I took care of it, the system worked exactly as stated.

mcrypt is not a recommendation, it's a requirement...
