ClientExec Bridge problems 3 Years, 6 Months ago
Hi
I have installed ClientExec Bridge correctly (I think) but have a couple of issues.
ClientExec is installed in the public_html/members and joomla is installed in publick_html/hosting

All of my customers imported into joomla correctly but do not appear to have imported the passwords correctly, I have updated the password in the ClientExec Bridge user manager for one of my own accounts and can now login with that account ok.
If I select to view my package details then all of the information about the domain is correct except the password is shown as o?ш [Change]

If i select one of my domains from the list in the module on the left (on the front page) I get the following error Not Found
The requested URL /hosting/hosting/index.php was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Obvoiusly the URL /hosting/hosting/.... is incorrect but I am not sure where that comes from.

Thanks
Richard

What version of Joomla and ClientExec are you using?

For the first error, do you have the domain passwords encrypted in ClientExec? The bridge is supposed to detect this, but there could be a problem I guess.

For the second error, does the error page replace the whole page you are looking at or does it just show up in the module position?

Thanks,
Shannon

Hi Shannon

I am using Joomla version 1.5.4 and Client exec version 3.0.2

I am not sure if the domain passwords are encrypted in clientexec, how would I know?

With the second error, the error page only shows up in the module position, nothing on the main page changes.

Thanks
Richard

Login to your Joomla admin. Go to Components->ClientExec Bridge->Server Manager and click on Import from CE If you see "Servers are ready to be imported" in green, then encryption is turned off.

Thanks,
Shannon

Hi
I tried the test and yes I see "Servers are ready to be imported" in green so the encription is turned off.

So there must be a different reason why the passwords have not imported correctly.

Thanks
Richard

The problem is probably in my code. I will have to look. It is supposed to automatically check if encryption is used. Can you open a bug report using the link on the left? Just for the passwords right now.

Thanks,
Shannon
