Control Panel shows new version available 2 Years, 1 Month ago  
If the control panel section on the right shows a new version is available and above that the version is blank (see screen shot attached) you have two options.

1) Download again, uninstall the component and reinstall the component, or

2) using phpmyadmin or similar, add a field called version to the #__cebridge_config table, edit the existing row and set the version field to "1.0 Beta" (without the quotes)
