Problem with ClientExec Login module 1 Year, 5 Months ago
|
|
|
Hi,
I have just installed CEB RC2 running on Joomla 1.5.9 connecting to Clientexec 3.2
The problem is that when I logon as a client to Joomla and then select "â—¦ClientExec Login",
I get the Clientexec loging screen with an error "Incorrect Username and/or password".
However if I use the same user email address and password, I am able to login to the clientexec system ok.
Please help, what am I doing wrong?
Thanks
Rhyn

I am looking into this. I haven't had a problem yet, but it could be there. Do you have Domain Password encryption enabled in clientexec?
Thanks,
Shannon

Hi Shannon,
Congrats on your newborn!
I have checked my encryption settings, and I have the encryption de-activated.
Any other ideas?
Regards

HI Shannon.
I trust the newborn is not keeping you awake, as we need your valuable support on this fantastic bridge (lol)
I truly think this bridge is excellent.
I too am having issues with this logging in. I truned off encryption in CE, and then went to import servers, but it is still in red text so thinks the encryption is still on.
All passwords at user level and a package do not work. I tried changing the password at user level i the control panel and was able to log in, but the links to CE and cPanel do not work as the package passwords are garbage too.
Any ideas?
I did have it working on my test site which was in a folder called dev i.e. wwww.yourdomain.com/dev I was happy everything was correct and so moved the site from /dev to root. Site works perfectly, but not the passwords.
The only changes to paths I have made was two lines in config.php in the clientexec installation. (and of course in joomla configuration.php file)
I deleted the server and users and tried to re-import the server and it was red.
Have I missed anything
Regards
Lloyd
