the path depends on whether they are on the same server or not. IP's don't really tell that. If they are in different accoutns you may run into issues with permissions and php settings allowing include files from outside the public_html directory. If they are on different servers, then it will not work.

The component was written with the assumption that both the joomla and clientexec installations would be in the same hosting account.
