I hope I can get an answer here as the last post was back in October

I just installed the CEB successfully after making all the installs, file edits, etc. and have a problem with the module. When I try to login as a test CE user that shows up in the CEB user manager, the page refreshes and nothing happens- I see the same login module/page with it prompting my for my information again. No errors at all. But when I login as a user that has been in Joomla before the CEB was installed, the login works fine and I get the CE module as it's supposed to look after logging in.

Hopefully someone can help me with this issue as I really want to use this component!

Is the user a user that you imported from ClientExec or one that was created in the signup process after installation and modification of the clientexec files?

the problem happens with both- users that are imported and users that are also created after the fact. But, what I noticed is that no matter what I type in (in an email address format) to the username field of Joomla, the problem still occurs. For example, if I type in (literally) test@website.com and test123 as the password (a non-existent user) and login, nothing happens, just a refresh. But even if I type in an email that actually is a valid user to CEB it still does the same thing...

This issue has been resolved, available in RC2
